BMJ article published on who is shaping the future of European health systems?

An unexpected consequence of the financial bailout has been that the bailout deals for Ireland, Portugal, and Greece have included startlingly detailed changes for their national health systems.  Not only is this a significant shift towards greater international involvement in the health systems of those particular countries; as the EU strengthens its collective oversight of national budgets, my BMJ article explores the implications of this for future EU involvement in steering national health systems of countries throughout Europe.  Download the PDF here; or access it on the BMJ website here.
